New Zealand lost 3-0, England 4-0 and Bangladesh lost their very first Test match on Indian soil. The only time India did not win, was the first Test against Australia. India came back strong to clinch the series 2-1 after much controversies. India's another trip to neighbouring Sri Lanka only solidified their claim to the crown of  top-ranked Test team in the world with a 3-0 win earlier this year.
